The MHS Archers placed 109th out of 136 teams at a Western Nationals competition. Thirteen of the 14 never shot 3D before, which simply means contestants shot at life-size models of game, and they had a crash course on shooting and scoring 10 minutes before their flight time. The MHS archers earned a bid to represent MHS at the World Championship in Nashville.
Out of both eastern and western nationals, Caleb Mull earned an individual 3D bid—he placed 65th out of 7500 high school boys.
Mull and Bryan Gordan placed 127th and 128th out of 8500 high school males archers.
Western Nationals results were:
Mull placed 16th in bullseye and 10th in 3D for high school males.
Gordan placed 17th in bullseye for high school males.
Brianna Perkins placed in the high school females category.
The overall team placed 15th in bullseye and 13th in 3D.
Good luck at World's!
