Two MacArthur High School students have been named as semi-finalists for the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program. Ryan Bolin and Eric Wang qualified due to their test scores on the 2018 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, making it into the top 1% of scores in the state. To become a finalist, they must now submit a scholarship application, detailing all the things that show their academic excellence.
Bolin and Wang are among roughly 16,000 semi-finalists nation-wide. The scholarship winners will then be picked from the pool of finalists based on their skills, accomplishments, and potential for success in rigorous college studies.
Lawton Public Schools would like to congratulate our two scholars and wish them success in the next round of the program!
