“This is the most national winners that Lawton has ever had in one year,” Moore said. “We are very proud of these students.”\r\n

The National PTA hosts the Reflections program each year to supplement art education and provide opportunities for students to be recognized for their work and to boost their confidence in the arts and in life.\r\n

According to Moore and the National PTA Reflections webpage, the theme for this year will be “I will change the world by…”. Students can submit entries that fall within the following categories: dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.\r\n

To enter, digitize your entries and email them to Dana Moore at dmoore@lawtonps.org. Additionally, each school’s Reflections Chair must upload the entries to the state website. All entries are due by December 1, 2021. \r\n
