It's Board Appreciation Month and we took the the time to talk with Board President Mary Bradley about her favorite part about being a member.
"I love supporting students and staff. The School Board meet's needs by funding schools and programs. We support the Arts and Athletics and the many other areas and want students to dream and seek after those dreams. We support students by creating an environment that is safe and encourages learning. Staff support comes by acknowledging their accomplishments and rewarding their hard work with stipends. I love school and hope it is a wonderful place for both students and staff. It is my pleasure to serve on the LPS School Board. "

Our LHS welding students recently took a trip down the street to GPTC. They were able to see what the next step in their journey to certification entailed, visit with students and pick up a few new tips during their visit.
