Congratulations to our #LawtonPS High School Choir students who made the 2025 WOCDA All-Region Honor Choir! These student went to Alva, OK to audition against students in the western region. These students made it through and will be performing at the Elk City Pioneer Park Performing Arts Center and the Kelli O’Hara Theater on October 27, 2025.

A reflection can be seen in the concrete as an employee of Structurecrete of Tulsa finishes the slab at Ridgecrest Elementary School on Tuesday. About 170 yards of concrete was poured for the slab of the new gymnasium/safe room at the school. The project is expected to be completed next summer. #WeAreLPS #LawtonPS #oklaed

Crews from Wind River Construction began the process Thursday of preparing the area on the east side of the Lawton High School football field for a new seat of bleachers for visiting fans. The pad for the bleachers should be poured before the end of September and then the 750-seat bleachers will be installed. Each high school will host at least one football game at their home school this season. #WeAreLPS #LawtonPS #oklaed

Students in the emergency medical responder/medical terminology classes at the Life Ready Center had the opportunity to see the inside of an ambulance on Monday during a visit from Sonny Puletasi, director of ambulance and emergency maintenance at Comanche County Memorial Hospital.
